Toy and merchandise manufacturer NECA obtained the license to produce Exorcist-related items back in 2007, and boy am I glad they did! As die-hard Exorcist fans, we’re devoted to a film that came before ‘blockbusters’ as we know them today; before merchandising was part of the complete movie package. We’ve never had much to collect beyond posters, lobby cards, articles and various releases of the film over the years. But now, with NECA producing great items like the Regan Bobble Head and the Spiderwalk Figurine, we finally have official merchandise collectibles to put on our shelves.
One of the last items from their current license period is the highly anticipated Possessed Regan Electronic Figurine, which is releasing this month– just in time for Halloween and nicely timed with Warner Brothers Blu-ray release.Via their Twitter today, NECA revealed the packaging for the toy(as seen above).
The bed is over 7” long, almost 6” across and over 5” tall and Regan herself is articulated at the neck, shoulders, and forearms. Motorized Action allows the head to rotate 360 degrees timed in sync with the actual movie scene.
Unfortunately, NECA have also confirmed the figurine will not play dialogue from the film– it will only play ‘music’. This is a shame, because I was looking forward to Regan’s guttural one liners filling the room on my command.

Note that NECA have confirmed there aren’t very many of these, and there will only be one run. So get it while you can, because they’ll be scooped up quickly!
