Love it!! I was flicking through some of the others and the TCM is funny! Also found an insane one called Charlie the Unicorn! Look it up, its funny as F!!!
Hey Father Fletcher, that is the one I have, the 5 disc set. It only has the original Exorcist but i have TVNS on dvd so dont mind. M.I.K.E. Yes, its just a box with the dvds in! Sorry Man! I have to agree. She brought such realism to the role I really couldnt imagine Jane Fonda doing it at all. I think the way that she lets herself go through the film is a very subtle thing and makes you believe even more that this is happening. She is an actress who is used to dressing up and playing a part and is quite well to do so to see her with her hair ina mess and wrinkled clothesreinforces the belief of what is going on. Her interaction with Linda Blair is quite amazing too. They really hit it off together and seemed very much the mother and daughter. I am babbling a bit so any other comments?
Actually Captain, as you put it that way then Merrin is the exorcist because they have to go threough training to be an exorcist and Karras didnt. He was there purely as an assistant. It would be like having a car driver on a bus and having to take the wheel if the bus driver has a heart attack to slow the bus down and save lives. It doesnt make him a bus driver. Does that make sense?
Ok, just checked out the the site and this looks fairly promising if only to explain how Leatherface came to be the lovable rogue that we all know and love! Unfortunatly the rest seems just a rehash of TCM. Even the same characters in the family which, on one hand, is good for continuity, but on the other, may reinforce the re hash theory. What do you guys and gals think. Will definatly check it out though saying that cos TCM being such a good premise for a movie that it would be a crime to ignore it really!

I dont get dvds out very often cos i have kids so i would have to wait till they go to bed! and also my job leaves me knackered at night so i dont go bed late myself! i am on hols for a week at the end of Oct though so will definatly get it then.
