She is Regan lol. I didn't create a sim version of Linda Blair because the only person who I think of as Regan, is Sachi.
I don't know why you keep saying that Regan likes/has an affection for Burke. 😉 She doesn't. She said it was all right to bring him along but she clearly didn't mean it. The novel makes this even more clear.
Friedkin's remarks on the “birthday ideas” scene (you can listen to it on the VYNS commentary) were that Regan had animosity toward Burke and concern that he would replace her father. That's the idea of the scene. It's uncomplicated on the surface, but full with unexpressed feelings underneath.
Regan did not like Burke. Not because he was molesting her (it never happened) but because:
– she was afraid that he might take her mother's love away from her,
– blamed him for her parents' divorce
– was concerned that he would marry her mother and replace her dad.

When Shirley was filming The Children's Hour, Sachi had long straight hair without any bangs. The picture on the cover could really be a distorted image of her face.
Good that you re-installed The Sims 2. 🙂 I still can't get used to how Sims look in The Sims 3, they're too cartoony/ clay looking with lack of texture detail.
My Sims 2 version of Sachi looks cute and she's slender like Regan is supposed to be. You can't make Sims 3 kids slender/thin at all because they have fat necks and are naturally chubby.
See? This is my Sim of Sachi/Regan in TS3. She's chubby, has a fat neck, and I try to hide it with the hair in front of her shoulders.

Well, granville has already answered (gosh, no need to correct your claims, you're too kind). I can only add that some of the paranormal phenomena that happened to Regan while at the Barringer clinic, was the writing on her skin. Letters would show up on her chest, then disappear.
The treatment option the Doctors gave Chris in regards to Regan was to have her hospitalized. That's when Chris said, “I'm not going to put her in a goddam asylum!” Since she was so opposed to Regan being hospitalized, they suggested exorcism as a shock treatment.
Oh, they also mentioned that they took a shot at narcosynthesis treatment. What is that exactly, granville?
