Yes I am extremely excited about this!
I do hope they make some other characters too, though. One of Merrin arriving outside of the MacNeil house would be great. They could have a real light that shines down on him.
Seems like they’ve just cut the profanity and then reversed a bit of it so it’s suitable for TV or wherever it came from.
Backwards it sounds like ‘fu**king worthless’.

The first pic is actually not really rare, it’s a screencap from the documentary on the 25th Anniversary DVD.
The second pic I can’t see anywhere on IMDB, but it’s not from The Exorcist. I think it may be from the fabulous Exorcism.
I saw that the other week but had dial up (so didn’t get to watch it) and completelu forgot about it. Wish they’d stop showing that image from THE HERETIC though. Nice find!
I don’t know why he’d want to when The Exorcist III is a perfectly good film as it is. They just need to find that missing footage.
WETA do amazing work, far better than anything in ETB. But, I don’t see how they are needed for The Exorcist.
I’d get Dick Smith back for any make-up effects.
Dakota Fanning would be the worst possible choice. I’d rather have Uwe Boll direct a remake than her play any part in the film.
I really can’t name anyone I’d want for a remake, because I’d want mostly unknowns. Maybe Stellan Skarsgard as Merrin, though I doubt he’d ever want to do another Exorcist film. Max could always reprise his role, but he’d probably feel the same as Stellan.

But, anyway, I think all these people suddenly coming and saying they saw the scene or think it was filmed are all the same person trying cause a debate/get a reaction out of the CaptainHowdy.com members. Just seems a little funny to me.
I can’t explain the woman but to me the bandaged guy is symbolic for Merrin ‘wrapped in guilt’. It all doesn’t have to make sense anyway, it’s a dream, they never do.
