Merrin, I’m very interested in that stuff you have (and would be happy to share Curse of The Exorcist with you – I don’t have the other one).
I have Curse of The Exorcist.. and that’s pretty much it. I’m also looking for other documentaries, especialy one that aired not too long ago and contained quite a bit of rare footage from what I could tell in the trailer. I think it was “Movies That Shocked The World: The Exorcist” or somthing.
However, can you please tell me what the Karras/Pazuzu jump cut before the window jump is… I’ve not seen it before. I presume this was replaced in TVYNS with the window “framing†Karras’ mother…?
I think he means the way Karras turns back normal before jumping out the window. In the original it just quickly cuts to a non-possessed shot of Karras, which has been fixed up in the 25th and TVYNS so it looks smooth.
They also play the score from Day of The Dead at the beginning which is pretty cool. I actually think there’s 2 songs with Paz in them, but I’m not sure.
Seems they’re just giving us the one released in the UK, but with an even shittier cover.

That looks horrible, the least they could do is use the original font. And hatter76, you say there’s an unrated ETB? I’ll have to look for it!
The only Heretic trailer I have is the one from the 25th anniversary DVD, and it doesn’t have that face. :O
Hey Ryan, it’s been a while! Ken still posts a bit, but he’s mainly just on msn. I haven’t seen Erik around for a long time (probably busy with his film projects). Sofia.. disappeared. The VB forum was the best, some funny time on there.

It’s amazing someone paid that much attention to the heretic to find that. 😛 Nice find though, looks like the prototype version of Pazuzu the FX company were selling.
