ParticipantWow, awesome job!

I don't know how you and Sofia do it.

Do you happen to have a download for your house?

ParticipantThe stills are from the E! True Hollywood Story: Curse of The Exorcist documentary.
I've never liked any of the little cuts in TVYNS, either. I assume Chris' line was cut because it suggest that Regan had learnt the bad language from her.

ParticipantThis one?

It's not part of a deleted scene but rather a sequence of photos taken during rehearsals for the exorcism.

ParticipantBut they are yet to adapt a live stage *show* from it yet, like The XXXorcist:
“The live show will feature all of the sex and spraying vomit right in front of your face! If you sit in the 'splatter zone' you may even get some of it on your face!”

ParticipantThese are definitely not just screenshots, but rather publicity stills that were sent out to various media and newspapers, which is why they have the WB logos and captions on the front and back. I have digital copies of almost all of them minus the rare 3x5s of Smith, Friedkin, and the casting of Linda's face (and a couple I can see of Miller & Friedkin).

ParticipantThere’s also a ‘head platter’

ParticipantI think this is the one you're looking for – it focuses mainly on the original film but there's a nice section on The Exorcist III at the end: http://www.zshare.net/download/94548618f7a3c8e2/

ParticipantHaha wow that's pretty rad!

Speaking of behind the scenes insight, I wish there was a more 'static' release of Owen Riozman's home footage from the set of The Exorcist. It is great seeing all that amazing on the Blu-ray, but I'd also like to just watch it by itself without it being wrapped up in those (kinda cheesy) documentaries.
Hmmm… might be time to put my video editing software to good use!
Sounds like a good idea, would love to see it all pieced together. But what would be nicer is a 40th anniversary release with a second disc containing at least 15-20mins of every scene being set up and shot + all the make up tests, etc.

ParticipantThe scene with Karras isn't exactly legit. It was dubbed with the audio from the sound effects test on the end of Blatty's 25th anniversary DVD commentary. It would be interesting to hear the original dialogue from Blair but I imagine it'd come off as silly more than anything.

ParticipantGot 99 problems but a glitch ain't one!
