Rare Exorcist press-books and articles

What started as a simple gift from Mike a few months back has turned into a complete revamp of one of my favorite sections.

Mike emailed me scans of a very rare and precious pess-book for Exorcist II: Heretic which was used to help promote the film in ’77 (as they do…). “Hang on, Mike,” I replied, “I’ll post it with the all-new CaptainHowdy.com relaunch…“. Now, as you can see, that re-launch has happened and I sat down today to post the very Heretic press-book he provided. Then I realized I had better also share the original EXORCIST press-book from 1973-4 which was distributed with film prints… plus this scan, plus that scan… oh, and that clipping.

It led me to overhaul and re-launch the entire Articles section. It’s all-new and ready to go! There is some fantastic reading there. Magazine articles as far back as the 70s detailing the progression and sequels of The Exorcist over the decades. Here’s a sample of what you can get in the new Articles section:
