Exclusive look at The Exorcist novel 25th Anniversary Edition

What’s better than receiving a limited edition copy The Exorcist novel’s 25th Anniversary Edition signed by the author himself, William Peter Blatty? (Not much, I know…) But sharing it with Exorcist fans is a good start!!

Ryan form The Ninth Configuration has done just that. He recently got his hands on the book in question and has been kind enough to share some of the exclusive material contained inside. Not only do we see Blatty’s signature, there are also some rare images contained within the opening pages of the book, exclusive only to that text! Take a look:

The one at the bottom is located just before the novel starts (a glossy illustration), and the other one is located right at the end of the book, just before the back cover.

“Sketches”? Isn’t that usually a line drawing? These look like some kind of photograph art or at least a painting. I’d also say they look computer generated.

They’re illustrations. I don’t recall writing “sketches” anywhere… but anyway, that’s what they are listed as when I bought the book, “illustrations”.

I’m so sorry I didn’t get one when it came out. I’m thrilled with my new 40th anniversary edition.
