The orange pic is a picture from the film with an orange tint. Nothing else.

Great behind the scenes pic. Linda is not wearing any makeup so they must be rehearsing/setting up lights

Gotta get in line. I’m pretty sure that’s #1 on every fan’s list.

Jack Macgowen (Burke Dennings) previous film was oddly enough King Lear.

Yikes. These pics are still the scariest thing to hit celluloid. I try to explain this to people and they just don’t understand why it freaks me out. I’m not really sure either but all I know is this stuff is terrifying. My guess is the “screen test” breaks the fourth wall and has the demon looking right at the audience. I dunno just a guess.

I have seen this before and I believe it to be real. As for it looking happy it could be in mid laugh or something. I’ve heard that Friedkin just rolled the cameras to see what happens as far as this goes. There are a couple other quick shots from the “flash trailer” that should be added as they contain unposted images of the captain.

Ranking these films is like ranking the Jaws films. Ok we have the first one which is arguably one of the greatest movies of all time and compare it to some of the worst movies of all time.

I tried to add this footage back in when I did a little GhettoExorcist Cut but there isn’t much to work with.

    1)Exorcist I
    2)Exorcist III

The rest don’t hold a candle.

I have never been able to spot the wires. If at all possible could someone post a screen shot with a circle or something showing proof that the wires are still visible?

Yeah it’s bad storytelling. Blatty really stretched alot of stuff in Legion. Kinderman and Karras were hardly friends yet each year Kinderman and Dyer mourn Karras’s death and somehow Kinderman has a picture of himself and Karras. Also have you noticed in the first film it was said that Merrin’s first exorcism lasted months and nearly killed him yet it last for maybe a day or two in the two prequels.

We can’t mix OUR favorites with the greatest films of all time. I’m not really a fan of the Godfather and I really didn’t like Citizen Kane but I’m almost positive those would be the frontrunners. Terminator 2 is a great flick as is Halloween but I doubt they’d stand a chance.

I think most critics would vote the horribly overrated borefest Citizen Kane as the greatest film of all time. The Godfather may possibly take the title as well.

Not really sure is there is a definitive answer. The shape has a rather ghostlike movement to it so it could have been Regan, Pazuzu or something else entirely. I think it was just to show that Kinderman didn’t trust Chris like the Captain said.
