ParticipantSof,
I'd be happy to assist. Why don't you send a copy of what you have so far to my email address and I'll offer some suggestions, if any. I can bet you will have everything you need! If you haven't done this already, check Google scholar. Your topic could be hard to narrow down because you could touch on several types of ethical dilemmas … or lack thereof with some new helmers.
xxoo back at ya,

I discovered “The Exorcist” with “The Version You've Never Seen”. I absolutely loved this film and I bought it on DVD. However, the original theatrical version was nowhere to be found. I was finally able to watch it when the Blu-Ray came out. I first watched the Extented Director's Cut and I was glad to see that they removed two of the Pazuzu flashes because I thought that the movie had too many of them. After that, I watched the original theatrical cut, and wow, it was better than the EDC ! Father Bowdern said exactly why I prefered this cut over the other one. I was glad that I was finally able to watch this version of Friedkin's masterpiece !

(I hope that my English is good because even though I'm half English & French Canadian, I'm currently on the French side and I don't write very often in English)
Â
Mike, thanks for the nod on the write up. The masterpiece will always remain the best! Your English writing is excellent and don't worry about it on here because it's just a blog. Sometimes I forget to add words altogether so __ writing __ not ___ great when _ type fast!

Can you envision MacLaine doing the lines in the hallway when the doctor's exit Regan's bedroom?CHRIS
“Oh, what are you talking about for Christ's sake! Did you see her or not? She's acting like a fucking out of her mind psychotic like a …  a split personality or something … “Father B

Link for Sofia (MacLaine gave a great speech despite the fact that Debra Winger was so unprofessional on ToD!)

ParticipantI've searched for it, too. The only thing I've found so far, yet haven't tried it, is from this site:

ParticipantMaybe you're right … Shirley could have very easily yelled the line, “Give my daughter the shot!!!”Â

ParticipantThat is a OMG, Sof! Now we know absolutely know for sure (at least from Shirley's claim) that Sachi is on the cover of the original novel. See what happens when you become friends with one of the greatest novelist of our time … you get “immortalized in annals of evil!” It is a little heartbreaking that Shirley didn't do the part for whatever reason, but at least Burstyn brilliantly pulled the part off.
Great find and thanks for sharing!

ParticipantGlad to hear you liked Alien … now watch James Cameron's action-adventure Aliens to see how different it is. Pretty incredible.

ParticipantIt really is strange about the books. I believe the rats have your cats in a demonic trance as they carried your books away.Â

ParticipantSteve, you'd think I'd take a better picture, but I just moved when I snapped that shot in my office.
I love the fact that Veronica slipped in the fake blood and her feet are the only things showing (edited for the movie, of course). That would have been a great production to be on because of Ridley Scott's brilliant choices in hiding the actual setups from the actors prior to shooting.
