KeymasterJustin, while I admit never trying too hard to see them, I’m yet to notice the wires in the levitation scene myself. Would you mind creating a graphic highlighting them? You’re handy with that stuff…

KeymasterI always felt that cutting the spiderwalk scene was the right decision by Friedkin. While it was nice to finally see the scene after years of speculation, it clearly sticks out like a sore thumb in TVYNS.
Still – if there’s a toy honoring the scene, I’m first in line to buy one!

KeymasterDamn Hatter that is one large file size!
I’m not up to speed with the Hellraiser fliks. I saw the original some time age. Is this a retail box or one from the film(s)?
Very cool nod to The Exorcist & Captain Howdy, either way!

KeymasterWOW that is great! Mind if we stash a copy in the Rare Images gallery??

KeymasterHeh heh, good stuff. I love YouTube. Thanks for posting, Justin.

Keymastercolombiancannon, these figurines you found online are all unlicensed (though still pretty cool). It’s great that we are finally getting a completely endorsed Exorcist figurine.
I don’t see the Burke doll happening any time soon…

KeymasterLooks like there was no winning bidder — the auction was pulled.

KeymasterI agree the likeness could be a lot better but hey — beggars can’t be choosers!

KeymasterErr yeah. Horrible review.

KeymasterYou’re absolutely right, Ghetto. This is the entire take which would have been sent to the FX lab to have Dick Smith’s spray spew matted out and replaced with the ‘chunky’ spew at the request of Friedkin. That means the entire take would be on that reel, which Friedkin would have later spliced into the final cut of the film (using a re-print, of course).

KeymasterI’d spend the entire film waiting for Danny Glover to deliver his famous line “I’m too old for this shit…”

KeymasterOh wow a 35mm matte print of the pea-soup scene! This is about as rare as they come!
I have an 8mm digest print of the entire film – this would add to the film reel collection nicely!

Keymaster…and counting!

KeymasterWow that is incredible! The bottom image in particular, with all the writing on her legs, is captivating. Great find Blizzi!
