This is a permission problem, and is exclusive to you, Justin, because I made your account a ‘contributor’ to captainhowdy.com some time ago. I’m about to update this software to the latest version, where I can easily change upload permissions outside of old accounts. Hold tight.

The image above is displayed beneath the text in my browsers, Chrome and IE. Placing the img tag on its own line seems to do the trick.
Yes, it is a bummer about the sound. The possibility of Regan slurring “Stick your c*ck up her ass you mother-fucking worthless c*ck sucker!” was part of the attraction! Ha ha. Hopefully by ‘music‘ they mean ‘Tubular Bells‘.

I’m starting to believe captainhowdy.com will always be ‘under construction’ 😉 Yes, this is a new layout in time for the Blu-ray release and Halloween. The colour scheme of this forum can change gradually, but I deliberately adjusted the layout to maximize space. The fact that it looks like any other forum is exactly what I was aiming for.
I’m sorry you’re not fond of it, but I never expect to be able to please everyone.
Hopefully it’ll grow on you 🙂

I’ve reached out to fans via the facebook page also, and will be combining experiences/comments into a special report for captainhowdy.com’s front page. I’ll use comments made here, also, if everyone who has posted is OK with that. Please email me or PM me with anything else you might like to add for the special post.
I think a loophole will be revealed where Blatty will continue to get residual checks of a certain price, regardless how much any subsequent releases of The Exorcist earn.
Law suits like this prevent a remake with his blessing, or the TV mini series he’s written, from being developed further– which is a shame.
If only it were more cut-and-dry.
