Participantdrexul, you’re very welcome. I finally finagled a couple of programs together to get it to play backward and it’s freaky!

ParticipantHere’s confirmation, directly from the script. Reverse the letters to tell what she is saying backwards.
Karraspulls out a small vial of water.
REGAN/DEMON
What’s that?KARRAS
Holy water.Karras moves to the end of the bed.
REGAN/DEMON
You keep it away.Karras uncaps the vial and now sprinkles it’s contents over
Regan. Instantly, Regan writhes in pain and terror.REGAN/DEMON
Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! It burns! Ohhhh! It burns!Regan’s head falls back onto the pillow as she rolls her head
from side to side shouting out indistrict gibberish:REGAN/DEMON
Emit su evig!Karras is intrigued and sits on the bed beside her. He moves the
microphone up to her mouth an listens.REGAN/DEMON
Ydob eht ni mraw si ti! Uoy ees I! Tseirp a si eh! Emit su evig!
Nirrem! Nirrem!KARRAS
Who are you?REGAN/DEMON
Tseirp a si eh! Eno on ma I! Eno on ma I! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!October 11, 2008 at 11:59 PM #21180fatherbowdern
ParticipantYou know, when you think about it, maybe Stephen King did a little take on this in The Shining with the word, “REDRUM.” 🙂

ParticipantHey Folks,
There’s been mini-posts here and there as to whether the demons that are recorded by Karras coming out of Regan after the holy water sprinkling sound identical to the tape he is listening to in the Georgetown U Language Department. This is the one where the professor tells him it’s English in reverse. Think it’s exactly the same?
Nope! There are a few instances where you here things like, “I see you!” Also, there are actually a couple of voices that sound like they were recorded backward and then played forward: “Give us time!” and “It’s warm in the body.” Plus, there’s nothing about “Dimmy” from his mother.
Very strange to listen to when reversed:
Enjoy!

ParticipantNah, Stephen King probably just liked strong liquor. What does She mean by “I am no one”?

ParticipantGood question, dsea. What do you think it means? I think it’s up for interpretation. Perhaps it’s one of the suffering souls inside of Regan answering Karras with more non-sensible gibberish? What do you think?

ParticipantThat’s a tricky scene to interpret, definitely leaves a lot to your imagination. I had a similar moment recently when I wanted a quick distraction and stumbled onto Mateslots https://mateslots.pro/ . I started with a few rounds on slots and lost a couple of times, but then switched to Lightning Roulette and after taking a bit more risk, I finally hit a solid win. They also highlight bonuses for players from Australia, which adds extra appeal. It ended up being a good way to relax and let my mind wander a bit after thinking about all those theories.
