Participantwhat does it mean when he says evil against evil in the start of the film?

ParticipantHe’s referring to the artifact of Pazuzu he found.
From Wikipedia:
Pazuzu was said to be invoked in amulets which combat the powers of his wife, the malicious goddess Lamashtu, who was believed to cause harm to mother and child during childbirth. Although Pazuzu is, himself, an evil spirit, he drives away other evil spirits, thus protecting humans against plagues and misfortunes.

ParticipantThat’s true … and it also means audiences were suckered into theaters for The Exorcist II: The Heretic while forcing them to watch the evil-spirited Pazuzu turn into a senseless swarm of locusts in an even more senseless movie.

PS: Justin, did you check out Dietz’s website? You’ll be about as pissed as I am about the photos and proclamations. Yeesh!

Yep.
I’m also currently bidding on a set of Linda Blair clippings for one of the articles contains an interview with Ellen Burstyn who completely rips into Eileen…

The seller has only put one page of the article up but I’ll scan the rest if I’m the winning bidder.

ParticipantJustin,
You are the man! That indeed is an interesting article and I hope you win it. If those words came from Ellen Burstyn, I believe them (and, of course I do because the person quoted is correct). Hmmm … what did Eileen do with that new asshole Ellen ripped her? 😉
Also, you were asking about the script in another post. Be aware there is an eBay auction for a “genuine script” at a cost of around $1800 USD. Skip it … even if you have the money.

ParticipantYou’ve got to win, Ju!
The bidding ends in 2 hours…August 4, 2010 at 10:09 AM #22829Justin
ParticipantUnfortunately I was outbid while sleeping.
Although it’s more unfortunate that the people who always win these interesting things will never visit this forum and share it with us…

ParticipantDon’t worry. You’ll find another one. Usually the individuals who buy movie-related memorabilia for high-dollar are Japanese eBay members’ U.S. eBay buyers. Sounds funny? Nope. I’ve sold more movie memorabilia to Japanese collectors at top dollar than the norm. I owned floor grates from the films Alien and Aliens principal photography shoots and sold them for hundreds of dollars. Here’s an old copy of the photo I used on eBay …

BTW, these milk crate sides and bottoms are a dark green plastic sprayed over with silver paint that was severely chipping off when I received them. They are probably the least impressive thing to see in person, but worked great in the films.

ParticipantHallo miteinander!
