ParticipantSteve,
Could you please, please, send me that “levitate” file? Would it also work with Sims 3? And, don't worry , if it works I'll credit you!

ParticipantAh, okie, Steve!
Sending a character animation as a file is good enough to me!!! Do you think it would really work? Let's say, if you sent me that 'levitating' animation, would the option appear if I clicked on my sim Regan? or would you make it as a box like most custom creators do?

It's in the works, darlin'. 🙂
I want to redo the voices though. I think I can do better. (I'm a little shot right now from having sang a double shift last Saturday…imagine singing for 13 sets…each set being 45 minutes long.) 🙂
Oh, boy!! Singing for 13 sets? lol!!
So are you really doing Chris and Regan's voices? omg, how can you sound like a 12 year old girl?Â
What is that sound effect' program you use?Â

Sofia, is there any mention in the novel that closes the gap on the subject? The film tries to wrap it up in a nice little bundle with Chris’s statement about Regan not remembering any of it. Again, if we forget about the sequels, it does keep some questions going.
Hi Fatherb,
Well, in the original epilogue of the novel (you can read it on Blatty's book-novel to film) Chris and Regan have a conversation about what happened in Rags' bedroom that night. She remembers seeing a man in a funny black dress jumping out the window and asks her mom if he's all right. Chris answers that he is resting in a hospital and that someday they'll visit him.Â

I plan to do the spiderwalk scene, but unlike my previous effort, I will probably forgo dialogue on that scene, and just cut to the chase….but ya' never know. 🙂

ParticipantHammer, I am so sorry about your mother. My condolences, as well.
Thank you for the nice words. 🙂

“My proudest moments in this video were animating the tape recorder (another one of the props I had to build for the video)”
Absolutely! I couldn't believe when I saw that tape recorder! I yelled, ''how did he do it??!'' 🙂

Participant“I wish I knew more about The Sims (I've been debating getting the Sims 3 game). iClone, as you can see, allows me a great deal of freedom. I could've done a lot of the character animations even better, but I wanted to get this out quickly. Believe me, a lot of room for improvement on my part. “
Â
Omg, Steve, I asked on The Sims 2 forum if it's possible to import your own animations using Iclone and apparently you can!
Most of the animations you see on my Exorcist sims videos I have downloaded from custon content creators.. gosh, I've downloaded so many animation box hacks but I still haven't found any interactions hacks.
I have Sims 3 but I don't really like the animations nor the way they look.Â
Â
This was an answer from Dixie on iClone /Â Sims:
“See link below for a You Tube video using iclone and TS2.

Dixie “
Â
How I wish you could create new animations/interactions for the sims 2, Steve!
Have you got any idea how to make a bed shake on iClone? 😀

ParticipantThanks Fatherb, Steve! 😀
Omg, Bridget Fonda?? I tried to make her look like Shirley as much as possible lol, but now that you mentioned Single White Female I kind of see the resemblance! 😉
Steve, have you watched Death Dreams?
Sofia
Participant“ her body, once released, subconsciously repressed those memories. “
It means that she consciously repressed those memories but they remain alive in her subconscious, right?

If this scene had been kept in the movie, it would have made the film heart wrenching. There were moments in the novel that I remember were very emotional. This was one of those scenes. The other that I remember was near the end when Chris was reading a card that Regan had given her with the phrase, “…all the prettiest things” while the mayhem was going on upstairs.Chris was crying inconsolably as if Regan were on her deathbed.
Yes, it was a poem for Mother's Day:
If instead of just clay
I could take all the prettiest things,
Like a rainbow…
Or clouds, or the way a bird sings,
Maybe then, Mother dearest, if I put them all together,
I could really make a sculpture of you!
