Restoration of the original film and side-by-side comparisons?

I absolutely love the “To Die For” Unrated version of this film, picking up the DVD on Wednesday.
I haven’t yet seen the original.

Too much gore? Too little suspense?

I love good amounts of blood, and this was one of the FEW times I ended up rooting for the protagonists.
American family or not, it’s just a matter of survival.

I just watched Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey. It is in no way definitive, but somewhat informative.

I think there oughta be a music week in school (and/or film week), where for each day, one major musical style is discussed and explored.
Metal Monday, Rap Tuesday, Pop Wednesday..
(And this should obviously be required viewing for the metal day)
