Never heard of any kind of auction. However, certain pieces were kept or taken or given to others as keepsakes. You can always look on eBay and something wierd will show up; i.e., Blair’s teeth castings (look around on this site and find the blog).

As I said, still waiting to grasp my chest in disbelief IF you say something positive.

You have already proven your severe lack of intellect repeatedly. You even plagiarize parts of my comments … I should be complimented.

Oh well, whatever floats your boat, Witch.

We’ve already had this discussion on here. Look around. I believe someone affirmed this. Also, the correlation is obvious here between the Father Damiens.

Sofia and I are quite good friends, Witch. She is a very unique and wonderful person. Being superanalytical can be a gift and a curse, especially to others that endure your negative commentaries that seem the prattle and go nowhere. [You’re not particular intelligent, but you make it hard on others when you attack.]

If I ever see a “nice” comment from you, I’ll grasp my chest in disbelief.

Okay, just another “get your freak on” moment. Take a look at the tree with the bats and notice the one in the lower right-hand corner. If you flipped the image upside down, does it remind you of anyone in the infamous poster scene for the film?

This is a common occurrence in the films when one actor is shorter than the other and needs to appear taller. Typically, digging a small ditch or building a platform (depending on your height) works. However, in this scene, we see both Burstyn and Miller walking side by side in a full shot. So, if there is something different about stature, it’s quite undetectable … at least for me.

I don’t think you’re off track in your thinking, although I would wonder why WB would change the ending music. The piece that you hear at the end is Fantasia for Strings by Hans Werner Henze. Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells overlaps HWH’s musical piece, if I recall correctly.

In any case, there was a release of The Exorcist on VHS during this same period you mention. It included mixtures of various voices throughout the film; i.e., during the Iraq scene when Merrin faces Pazuzu for the first, the voice of Regan screaming during the hypnosis scene plays subtly in the background. This happens quite a few times. So, if you think you heard TB first, go for it! 🙂

I think you mean Behind the Green Door. 🙂 It would actualy be quite funny to see Chambers in the lead role of Beyond the Green Door.

I don’t recall any action figures except the recent ones featuring Regan. I can’t remember where I saw this, but there’s a new model featuring the entire bedroom scene with Regan, Karras, and Merrin. Perhaps it’s NECO.

    Dear KarrasRosary:

I enjoyed your question. I haven’t had time to engage in our site in a while. Once again, I read the same rhetoric from Witch of Endor. Actually, many individuals are not writing much on here, including me, because of this member constantly lashes out at everyone and everything. Witch does not contribute to the site at all. In fact, Witch will needle you and pick everything to death from a “pretending to be naïve” to the egregious zones. [Personally, and without cruelty insinuated, I believe Witch has a form of mental retardation. Witch definitely rode the “short bus” to school.]

You have already answered your question for yourself and many others quite … and quite convincingly: “… I developed an interest in him [Karras] and I find him one of the most deep, convincing, handsome, and dark characters in any movie.” I agree with you. The notion that your gender, religion, or whether some form of sexual abuse was in your life are just plain ignorant sidetracks from Witch. My conclusion is that the paragraph is exactly what William Friedkin wanted the audience to feel about this character. He got his wish with a wonderful performance by a wonderful actor, Jason Miller.

    Welcome to the site!
