ParticipantHey Sof, have you read Shirley's autobiograghy yet? I just got it at a used bookstore tonight. I want to know if it's good.

ParticipantHonestly, I wasn't that scared when I watched it the first time, but every time after that, it gets scarier.

ParticipantEven with the movie, Father K's death is kind of like a suicide, because right before he jumps he is “normal” (I use this losely) but the demon is still inside him.

ParticipantHuh, he had a down fall? He had an uprise? I didn't even now. XD

ParticipantOh really? Cool.
Oh, and I promise i'll record that video again like I promised. I just got home from a vacation!

ParticipantI thought the vids were great Sof! Thoses movie clips were perfect!
And I do prefer how the book kind of says “Regan killed Burke” but also says “the devil killed him”

ParticipantI was thinking about this again today, and thought of the Willowbrook State School on Staten Isalnd, NY. I just remembered seeing a program about the building, and history. But to the point, there was this one part that showed Geraldo Rivera doing some investigation on the place, and it was terrifying. (It was a clip from '72) It was all these mental people in horrid conditions. It really is just awful to think about.

ParticipantI have never thought of the films that way. Once I get back home to my DVDs, i'll have a movie night to watch and compare the too. Because at the moment, I like the oringal, but not really sure why.

ParticipantI actually love the name Regan. I named one of my dolls Regan, and a character too (I create stories.) I, of course, only heard the name after I saw The Exorcist. But personally, I love it. I would love to name my daugther that, in the FAR furture.

ParticipantThis is mind-blowing. I would love to hear what you have to say after you read the book.
And the whole giving homeless people money, I know I would feel guilty if I passed one up, but am a bad person for doing so? I'm going to be ponder this for the rest of the night. Also, why is it that the conditions in mental hospitals (and hospitals in general) hasn't changed for the better? I have awful stories of a hospital around me. Is it so hard to just provide for the people who need it? But then, I don't know. I haven't lived long enough to see alot of the homeless, mental, or anything like that.
