For the first time in about 20 years, I dug out my old copy of this book and gave it a complete and thorough read over the weekend.Though I thought that Kinderman’s musings and witticisms seemed over the top at times, I really did enjoy it a lot.The film version really did not seem to do the book the justice that it deserved. It could have been a masterpiece had it gone through the proper channels.I think that Amfortas was an important character in the story. It is a real shame that he was omitted from the film.

“Hurrah For Karamazov” and to William Peter Blatty

Remember to take your time with this book.It goes into the whole back story of James Vennnamun and his cruel father.

I've had the book sitting on my desk for about 4 years and haven't gotten around to reading it.

Gotta finish Dimiter first, then I'll start on Legion.

The whole “Amfortas Scenario” (and his mysterious absence from all screenplays) is an interesting thing, wouldn't you say?
