Other than the mouse or rat ripping my book in a house that didn’t have mice or rats, I haven’t had a bad luck experience. However, it was creepy. I kept the book between a one-foot space on the floor between my bed and the wall. I had just finished reading another chapter and I put the book away in its usual place. I turned the lamp off. Right before I fell asleep, I heard the ripping sounds. I turned the lamp back on and picked up my copy of the book and it had 1/2″ to 1″ rips in the first part of the book even though I was reading a chapter near the end. Go figure. And, yes, I am blaming this on a mouse or rat because I refuse to believe anything else. Nice justification in my mind at age 13 and today! 🙂

My Exorcist book has remained in pretty safe condition on my dresser. Nothing or anything around it hasn’t had anything happen to it in a bad way. The same thing with my two Exorcist DVDs. They’re just fine, so does someone know something that I don’t? 😛

The only thing peculiar about The Exorcist is that every single copy Ive had of the VHS tapes, The DVDs, & the book, of which there have been quite a lot, have been somehow lost. I credit this strictly to demonic activity. However, in this case it wasn’t the demon Pazuzu, it was the demon known as whiskey. Black outs suck.

I read a couple of stories here of people that believe the book/movie the Exorcist brings them bad luck. How many people actually believe it?

Greg, I think you are a saint here on earth and nothing evil can touch you or your possessions (pun intended!). 🙂

Why thank you, sir. It’s good to know that people don’t get too obsessed with dark and evil things after getting into The Exorcist. Let’s not forget Blatty’s themes of great good in his work. Of course, this doesn’t really explain in anyway disappearing or ripped books. 😛

LMAO, Greg! Very good observations! The “great good” of having my copy of The Exorcist ripped is that I read it in the living room and left it there! 😉

Hi team! I wanted fewer tabs and more context, so I read a roundup of AI tools and clicked through to loonie ai bot website https://loonieai-bot.com during lunch. What I liked most was the “why” text attached to each suggestion—macro notes, momentum hints, and where the idea breaks. In Canada’s early data releases, that extra line helps me decide whether to wait. I still choose manually, but having a second pair of (robot) eyes keeps me from forcing trades on quiet days.

I get that need for context instead of juggling endless tabs, especially when quick decisions depend on nuanced data. I’ve had similar moments while researching complex topics and wishing for explanations that go beyond surface summaries. That’s why I started using the best AI answer generator when I need structured insight with supporting references. It doesn’t just give a short reply, it explains reasoning and cites sources so I can evaluate the logic myself. Having that extra analytical layer feels like a second set of eyes without removing my own judgment.
