…sit in homeroom class at school and fantasize about doing the sorts of things Regan did just to throw a scare into everybody? I used to sit in there and daydream about my head spinning around in circles while projectile vomiting all over the place like a lawn sprinkler.

 

(I wasn't very popular, as you've probably already guessed.)

I never thought of an Exorcist stunt…but…

 

I do remember, shortly after the film ALIEN was released in 1979, there was a tee shirt made that had a foam-rubber chestburster, painted to look as if it were coming out of the wearer's chest.

 

OMG, what a GREAT classroom prank that would've made.   Sit there with my denim jacket on, start gradually twitching and convulsing and raising all manner of hell…get the class and the teacher worried..and then, just when I have every one gathered round me, rip my jacket open for the great reveal!  There likely would've been an increase in urine and fecal smell from all around the classroom, whilst I'd lay there laughing….just prior to probably being pummeled to near death by the terrified students and teacher.

 

What a daydream that was.  I never did get the shirt, but I certainly fantasized the scenario over and over.  🙂
