I've been watching the featurettes on disc five of the Alien Anthology.   WOW….some really great behind the scenes footage and screentests there.   I'm lovin' it.

 

(SPOILER ALERT in case  anyone has not seen any of the Alien movies, or at least, any of Alien's sequels….SPOILER ALERT…you've been warned)

 

 

I remember, once upon a time, I was writing my own story of Alien IV before Alien Resurrection came out, and it would've carried on with the notion that Ripley was dead per Alien 3.   My story would've indeed brought the aliens to Earth, where, as a result of the infestation, Earth becomes a battleground between humanity and the infestation.   I was going to have Bishop's creator (whom I wanted to portray as sort of a good guy in my story, despite his intentions in Alien 3), and Morse (the only one who survived the incident on Fury 161) be the main characters.    My story would've involved the Colonial Marines and Army, and we would've seen a world almost similar to the future of Terminator…..dropships hovering in the air, and APC's on the ground, hunting down aliens.

 

I had a really good story wrote up for it (incomplete, but quite detailed).  I wish I could find it, but I wrote it on typewriter, so it has long since been lost.
