I have flicked the switch, folks — all new captainhowdy.com has finally landed. But I'm not promoting the fact yet. Still some kinks to iron out and I'd appreciate your help should you spot any.

Nice job. Glad to see it's back. Would like to see some sensible order to the forum posts. At the moment the topics seem to be all over the place. Some dated from earliest to latest, others I'm not sure what's going on.

Better them be there and all over the place than deleted all together, I figured. It's because the old posts come from a completely different system and they are having trouble syncing. I'm working on it… it irritates me as well. The more we post, the less confusing it will become.

Bug:

Images repeat three times, and some images are unrelated (top ones).

Also, they're out of order. It goes from legion_10.jpg to legion_100.jpg; it doesn't follow on sequentially as it should. Same problem with the Heretic page:

Exorcist 2: The Heretic Images

Can you fix that at all? It would look better and show the films (in images) properly from beginning to end. 🙂

I also see a big mySQL error at the bottom of the forum page:

Working on image gallery fixes now. Filenames are out of whack. The MYSQL error code you were seeing should now be gone, can you confirm?

Is it possible to alter the forum preferences so that we can edit our posts? I can't seem to find a button to do it yet.

Ryan, as I understand it, users need to edit a post within a two minute window. Once two minutes has passed the post can no longer be edited.

Sofia, did you use the upload function for your signature image, or are you hosting the image elsewhere? I may need to mess with permissions to make uplaoded signature images visible. And thanks for the redesign compliments 🙂
