In filming with some friends at school my own sequel to The Exorcist. It is sort of a re-imagining of Exorcist II with Kinderman and Chris McNeil returning. There are only a few scenes to be shot, most of it is complete. The story opens with Kinderman writing a letter to Chris on Christmas day and walks to the steps where he remembers Karras’ death. He somehow feels that something evil is going on and that what happened was only the beginning, much like the prologue with Merrin in the first film. The action changes to London, where Regan is living with her father – Howard and jealous stepmother Mary. There is a subplot involving Mary’s extreme hate for Regan, having her being daughter of her husband’s previous marriage. A strange, troubled young priest starts tormenting the family, trying to question Regan. Meanwhile, she is having bizzare nightmares involving her exorcism (although she doesn’t know the girl on the bed is actually herself). Pazuzu starts plaguing her in the form of desceaded Karras and wants to get her once again, and only the priest can save her and find out the reason behind her strange possession and a mysterious accident that happened years before she was even born.
