ParticipantLinda doesn't look anything like my Goddess Regan MacNeil' of the novel , who was based on my Goddess Sachi MacLaine.

Â
I love to edit Linda and Ellen on photo express to make them look like Shirley and Sachi. I recolor their hair to red, add freckles, a more delicate white skin, and finally make their noses smaller and faces shorter. Here are some edited pix:

And another…When I bought these original stills off Ebay the seller told me that they were from a rehearsal. So, it could only be for the 'funny noises' cut scene. She's looking up at the ceiling in both stills.

Those pictures are quite weird, her expression looks exactly the same in each of them. It looks a bit like a dummy or maybe they took all three angles at the same time

ParticipantI don't think those stills look weird…

ParticipantWell, I assure you mego that the person in the photos is Linda Blair and not a dummy.

Sof, I agree these are probably from the “sounds in attic” rehearsal.

ParticipantSophia did you upload your sims?
November 16, 2010 at 2:58 PM #23869Sofia
ParticipantYeah, fatherb, I don't think it's a dummy either!! lol!
hammer- sure I upload them!
Here's part 1 – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmB6AcJB7ZM
I'm re-shooting part 2 atm, but I still have to build Georgetown University where Chris and Burke are filming the exterior scenes.. I'm not sure how to build that though.. it was easy building the house, it only took me two days. 😉
Oh, and here's the “Funny Noises/Missing dress scene I finished editing yesterday. I did that in a hurry so the editing isn't that good.. but it's still creepy – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72uREayyY7w

ParticipantWOW! Those are pretty cool, Sofia.
 Nicely made and edited.Â
This almost makes me want to pursue doing shots from The Exorcist with my 3D animation program “iClone 4.2 PRO”. Unfortunately, it's been so long since I've read the novel, mine would almost end up being alternate views/takes from the film itself.

ParticipantThank you for the great comment on my vids, Steve!! 😀
Wow, I wish I knew how to use a 3D animation program! I'd love to see your shots from The Exorcist!

ParticipantSophia, they are great! Really … it is a pity you can’t make them speak …
The house looks perfect…how did you manage? Hours and hours of work, I suppose…November 17, 2010 at 12:07 PM #23883Steve Dunlap
ParticipantIndeed, you did a great job Sofia. Keep up the good work. I'm interested in seeing how you'll deal with the actual possession..
And I posted my own little video tribute to The Exorcist, using iClone. It took me all of a day to put it together. I hope you'll enjoy it.

I know…
IÂ could do Regan's voice over, though, Â 'cause my voice is very thin and childish lol.
But IÂ used Ellen and Linda's voices for the voice over of the ouija board scene. Some of their lines on that scene are pretty similar to what they say in the novel :

See if ya like this one. 😀

And your job was just magnificent, Steve. Likewise, you keep up the good work! And keep on making more and more vids.
