Participantupdate: I downloaded it from google. Now I can do screencaps. Thanks again, Justin. I guess I don’t have a flv player after all 😉

ParticipantIt’s one of those movies/books that I just _know_ I’m going to love. I look forward to finding out I’m right 😉

ParticipantWell, he (Jason) was 34 when he was in the movie… I can’t remember peoples ages in the book.
Blizzi
ParticipantThey look sleepy… It was probably taken after they saw the movie 😛

ParticipantYeah, Mike, better than buying a whole new machine! I would also love it if they could come up with the original 1973 version on dvd… I’ve always wanted to see that.

ParticipantYeah… He wasn’t like all the “movie stars”… He was so human. It fills me with awe how he was just himself. That’s a rare quality 😉 He wore his heart on his sleeve (in this interview at least); so much feeling behind his words. It was a good point about men crying in movies. Karras cried. Those are the parts that usually choke me up. It’s weird… I never knew him, but I miss him anyway.

ParticipantI want to see it, but it says I have to register because it was posted 4 weeks ago… Is it really free?

ParticipantJustin, are you able to save this video somehow for me please? So I can make screencaps (for me and the yahoo group 😉 ) and in case it’s removed from youtube. I couldn’t find anywhere where I could save it to my pc (to play in realplayer, make screencaps ect.).

ParticipantThat would be clearer motivation. I like the giggle because it’s subtle. There might be an interpretation problem with the insults… Some may have thought he attacked her just because of the disrespect, instead of the pure evil which caused her to laugh at the tragedy… I don’t know how much sense I make, but I gave it a shot 😛

ParticipantI hadn’t noticed that Merrin was walking on a cross… very observant of you to see that! I had taken note of the song, though I didn’t associate Karras’ wandering with the demon being a “travelin’ man”. Good job! 🙂

ParticipantI hadn’t seen those Karras ones before either. These are the watermarked ones (- the sound booth one)… Wish I could find them in high quality! http://aycu31.webshots.com/image/16950/2001601689689771446_rs.jpg

ParticipantYou’re welcome. I was curious and did the math a long time ago 😉 Gee, I remember the first time I watched the Exorcist; seeing him and thinking “THAT’S the Exorcist? This’ll be interesting!”. He was so natural and had the amazing ability to pack a ton of emotion into one subtle expression. Incidentally, the first time I saw Lee J. Cobb in this movie, I laughed. The only movie I had seen him in before was 12 Angry men (he was the angry hold out) when he was much younger and sans moustashe 😛 So how old was Karras in the book?

ParticipantHaha, that’s where I found the first ones. That auction is over now, unfortunately. http://cgi.ebay.fr/15-Photos-Cinema-1973-LEXORCISTE-Lobby-Cards-Set_W0QQitemZ320096567426QQcmdZViewItem

ParticipantI think I have a FLV player. If it isn’t too much trouble, I would really appreciate it 😀
