    Too brief.

However, I’m still looking forward to your book.

That’s a complete rip-off from the other porn version “The Sexorcist”.

And I’m sure that he’d be a lucky man to have you (if you were a lady).

Well I’m more into suspence rather than gore but I’ll still give it a try.

Actually Holy, we weren’t discussing another Version We Haven’t Seen nor a fan edit.

We’re loathing the possibility that a no-talent hack like Michael Bay or Rob Zombie doing a remake/re-imagining of the original.

According to all the media publication of that era (as far as I can see), it didn’t seem like WPP was badmouthing the production until after the movie was released.

    Great article.

    How about calling it:

    Satan

    Dominion II

    Exorcist: Sequel to Dominon

    Exorcist: Prequel to Legion.

    The 8th Configuration

    The Evil Within

    God is not with you.

If this is the shooting script, I wouldn’t be too interested.

However, I heard that the first draft script was better than the movie and featured Kinderman and Dr. Tuscan was originally a male character.

That I would be very interested in purchasing.

    Hi lunuso,

I browsed your myspace and was impressed. I’m happy to see that there are people your age that appreciates the classics rather than the crappy trash that Hollywood dishes out today.

    There is some hope. 😉

    Back on topic.

I’ve never got a chance to read the entire novel but I did like what I’ve read so far.

    PRO

This was a hard one to think of.

If the remake was being marketed as “based on the best selling novel by WPP” rather a remake then perhaps the idiotic remake fetish movie goers and the public would see the original as another adaption.

really don’t think he made the film to please others as much as himself, it was his own geeky little dream. But at least he actually cares for the original film and put everything he had into the remake. I’m just glad he did it before some real hack came in a ruined it (it was bound to happen soon or later).

All remakes are bad IMO. It doesn’t matter who does them. There is no talent what so ever in doing remakes

Have you seen Braindead, Bad Taste, or Meet The Feebles? Arguably some of his best work, especially Braindead. It’s the low-budget horror gems that I really like him for.

No I have never seen those movies but I’d be happy to check them out.

Low budget doesn’t bother me considering that most directors seem to be at their best when working with in the confines of a limited budget.

Look no further than George Lucas when he directed TX1138 and American Graffiti (both films had low budgets) and IMO were his best work.

Even Star Wars Episode IV had the smallest budget compared to the rest of the saga and he did a great job directing it.

I don’t know what happened to Geoarge Lucas’s abilities afterwards.

The same could be said about John Carpenter’s early work, Assualt on Precient 13 and Halloween. Both movies were lowbudget which were far superior than then their big budget remakes.

So yes I’m interested in checking out Peter Jackson’s low budget early work.

PS are you the same Justin from Bloody News?

If so.. what happened to that place?

No … but I think I’ve seen the sequel “Re-Possesed” starring Linda Blair. 😉

Or perhaps people are speculating that WPB is basing Burke on Roman Polanski.

He was (probbably still is) a child molester. 😉
