Hi, this is swedens biggest fan of the exorcist, I was meant to sign up here long ago, but anyway heres my reason to why I am such an exorcist maniac. In one of the Interwievs , Friedkin said that the movie could have negatively effects if ou where sad at the point you were watching the film for the first time,,I was emotionally really weak at that time, the autumn of 2005. I was doing fine until during father karras dream, my friend took the dvd remte and scanned back ... first meeting with eileen dietz. She is not casted in the credits, but honestly she really puts the scare into the entire film. I had to watch the film 5 times before one of my friends found out the sub shot at the hospital, where eileen slightly straightens her jaw. I think Ive seen all those images now. I had problem sleeping half a year first ime after i watched it , so thats why Im a fan I guess, no Japanese horror movie has ever freaked me out that much. Although "Onibaba" was the inspiration for captain howdy. And finaly, a great job of sydow the swede!
