ParticipantHA! That's great Cap … a Captain Howdy mask for Captain Howdy of captainhowdy.com!
hatter, you think you could send one to our Administrator? Maybe you two could strike up a deal to sell them on here? Seriously, why not?
I can only tell you from personal experience that WB is PITA because I have one of the moulds of Regan with eyes open in demon makeup. I made lightweight acrylics and sold about five before WB went ballistic on my ass. It was just a nice little legal notification that I was infringing on their copyright, ownership, materials, etc., etc., etc.
I still want one!

ParticipantYou're welcome. The Cap put an article on here about the translation.
I think the conversation that Blatty wrote is great because truly, like the holy water, the Latin is only primary, introductory sentences that most children could have access to at most libraries, churches, schools, etc. These answers by Pazuzu are yet another trick by the demon.

ParticipantThat's true about eBay. Just don't make too many at first because WB will sometimes pull the VeRO act on you and have your items removed due to copyright infringements/violations. WB is still not lenient after 37 years, but you will find some life masks, etc. from “authorized” vendors (HA!).
I want one!

ParticipantWhat a find! I wonder who the chick is in right upper film reel? It doesn't look like Blair or Dietz. Also, do you think this is Blair actually using the vomit apparatus below? Especially check out that 2nd frame where you can see the hole much better.
Now I have to figure out where that $3500 USD will come from … I want this collection and bad! I think it's all genuine because excorcist is used in two of the spellings and that word wasn't well known until after the book and movie debuted.
Thanks for sharing, Justin!

ParticipantWoah! I'll have to check it out the male stand-in. Do you have a time reference on the BR, Justin?
You rock!

ParticipantGo get 'em, Cap! Tell WB you're the host of this show and it sucks. I mean would it be fair to buy any DVD at full value only to find out it looks like a bootleg?
Perhaps this is the way in which WB intended to empty its stock of old TVYNS they pulled off the shelves months ago to be replaced with the EDC. Something is rotten and it stinks and “it ain't my Aunt Matilda's panties.”

ParticipantThey could have at least shown a little footage of Linda's outtakes. Roizman may not have filmed it, but there is footage out there because a couple of seconds was shown in Linda's A&E bio (I made this animated gif of it a while back).

Okay, it's kind of weird to do the quote blocks. Maybe I should stick to “xxx” stuff. Anyway, I did see this on your Tumblr site and I think it rocks.
Your summary of what we see makes sense, too. Perhaps everyone knows the Dietz story of how she claims to be the star of the film.

Geez, I'm doing something wrong on the block quote.

ParticipantJeez, can WB cash in on this any more than ripping people off with TVYNSÂ by calling it something else on the package with a “special” extra disc? I see why you're upset.

ParticipantBlair or Roizman never say she did any actual takes with it, either, and the last line of the quote you posted – “we worked on that thing for over three months” – sounds like Linda is recalling all the tests they did before shooting and Dietz took over.
^^ Justin, how do I make the grey boxes like you did when quoting someone?
Anyway, “… sounds like Linda is recalling all the tests they did before shooting and Dietz took over.” I'm still not seeing that particular angle by listening to Blair in either the link I provided or on the “Roizman Tapes.” Remember that Roizman said, “It was a very tricky scene to shoot because we had to have all these devices installed in her mouth. But I filmed mainly behind-the-scenes footage of Eileen Dietz. But finally, when we were ready to shoot, Linda came in and we made the shots mostly with her. In the final cut, there's a subliminal cut of Eileen that we had made, but basically it's Linda.â€
Now that is confusing on what we already know. There is a tremendous amount of faulty recollections from the principals. The unknown things are just speculations. I agree that Vercoutere and Smith would have provided more insight because we know they were on the set during filming. Unfortunately, we didn’t get that on the BR.
