ParticipantThe first time I noticed the missing eyebrows is during the masterbation scene, from then on, she becomes more ravaged looking. the missing eyebrows helps her look scarier in my opinion.

ParticipantThe Possessed was a tv movie that took place at a girl’s boarding school? I’m trying to remember this one. It had a girl becoming possessed by a pool, really scary and I think she throws up on James Faratino. I’m getting this movie mixed up with another movie called THE SPELL with Lee Grant, it was more like a Carrie rip-off, very scary tv movie, made in 1977.

ParticipantAnother tv movie made in 1972!, directed by Steven Speilberg, his last tv project before going big time. This one is called SOMETHING EVIL, scared the hell out of me as a kid. I remember it had a pentagram in the movie. Starred Johnny Whitaker, child star of the tv show FAMILY AFFAIR. If you can locate this film on the net, it’s worth a look. Steven Speilberg makes a cameo in this moviie.

ParticipantAnother tv movie made in 1974 was called THE STRANGER WITHIN, starring Barbara Eden who plays an expectant mother whose unborn child controls her mind. More like ROSEMARY’S BABY, but it contains a scene where Barbara Eden looks possessed with a scary look on her face, that image scared the hell out of me as a kid.

ParticipantIn the Exorcist rip-off movie ABBY, Carol Speed had wild bushy eyebrows when she was possessed. If you ever see the movie, after the exorcism is over, continuity problems have her with bushy eyebrows still on her face.

ParticipantWhen she is laying in the corner, her eyebrows are now back and the deep scars are now gone, so I assume that was a temporary disfigurement during her possession. Go figure. Hopefully, if they make the remake, they don’t go too bizarre with the make-up. The self inflicted cuts during the masterbation scenes worked well in the original.

ParticipantIf they do a remake, they might use a line like, “I lied, you look like Brad Pitt.”

Participantthat’s cool how u isolated the wires. great job, Justin. The special effects were still good for what it was in those days. Today’s technology would be, just do it CGI.

ParticipantRegan could die in the new version and the possession begins again somewhere else. That’s the new Hollywood thinking. Let’s hope the remake sticks to the novel, but seeing most of the remakes, many new scenes will be added for no reason. Making it a re-imagining, which some people hate. Your thoughts.

ParticipantI found the Regan figurine advertised at alteregocomics.com. It will be selling in July at the running price of $14.99.

ParticipantIn the dream, the medal is falling slowly, when it lands on the ground. looks like it lands on a hard surface, like where the Hitchcock stairs are located. Go figure. A forshadowing of where Karras will end up dead.

ParticipantI want a Jack Mcgowan action figure and I want to throw it out my window and see it roll down the stairs. No disrespect to the dead. Your thoughts

Participantmy favorite line “It wants no straps.”

ParticipantIf Regan was pouring out blood as she glided down the stairs. That means their would be blood on the rug and you know how those bloody stains don’t really come out, especially when the stairs were a cream color material. the next scene was with Lt. Kinderman visiting the house. He would have noticed the funny stains on the stairs if he was to further investigate the Burke Denning’s murder? The added blood was just for shock value, didn’t make sense. If a long serpent tongue came out of her mouth, including the same sound effect, it would’ve worked. Your thoughts.
