It’s been about 40 years since William Friedkin directed “The Boys in the Band” which is almost as harrowing (at times) as “The Exorcist” and the DVD release is long overdue. The director does it justice with a worthy audio commentary (I wish he had been as informative on the “Exorcist” commentary). It’s a terrific film loaded with strong charactors & sharp, funny dialogue. Well worth a look.
