ParticipantI’ve never noticed any through to movie =0
I must not pay much attention to detail >_>September 7, 2010 at 5:45 AM #23051DamienKarras
ParticipantOkay, I’m sucking it up, there’s no way I’m missing this opportunity, I’ve luckily tracked down some tickets in Niagara Falls, just a short trip across the border. Pretty excited =-)

ParticipantThat’s great Damien!! You must be seeing it at the Regal Cinemas over there…Too bad Regal is only playing the one show at 7pm…I’m going to the Manchester, CT showing and I get to see it twice, at 7pm and 10:30pm!!…I am so freaking stoked man!!

ParticipantYeah, I was hoping they had a later show, but it’s still awesome =-). Hopefully I meet some fellow exorcist fans.

ParticipantAh, a communal experience while watching The Exorcist, it’s gonna be fun!
I’m curious about audience reaction to certain scenes: the door slam that ends “the sow is mine” scene, the crucifix, the Sal Mineo reference, the crucifix, the needle in Regan’s neck, the exorcism… mainly the crucifix.Actually, back in 2000, the one scene that made the audience jump the most was the telephone that rings when Karras is playing the tape backwards. We’ll see if it happens again

ParticipantWow, never noticed that.
Luckily I found a theater about an hour away and my dad said he would take me that night cause sadly that is the day he gets laid off. I wish that the theaters would play it on Friday too.September 7, 2010 at 10:46 PM #23056TheTunnel
ParticipantTo Epicwin123: I’m so sorry to hear that your Dad is getting laid off. That’s really too bad…But, at least you and he both get to see “The Scariest Movie of All Time” on the big screen Thursday night (yeah, I wish they were playing it on Friday too, but at least we have the Blu-Ray release to look forward to the coming Tuesday after that)!!

ParticipantIs it bad I’m having a hard time deciding what to wear? haha

ParticipantYou know guys, this whole Warner Brothers “Sept 30th Trailer for the Oct 5th Blu-Ray Release” is really just a psychological attack on us fans. The studio is a liar, but it will also mix lies with the truth to attack us.
Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!
To Damien: Just wear a white collar, and bring holy water. Sprinkle it on the person sitting behing you, and if he/she begins speaking English in reverse, get the hell out of there fast because it could be the Warner Brothers studio demon…
There is only one…

I’m really looking forward to seeing it on the big screen! It should be great. Sadly I don’t have a Blu-Ray DVD player, but I might guess buy the DVD and wait to get a player. Don’t wanna miss the opperturnity.

ParticipantThe screening at my theatre has been bumped ahead a half-hour to 7:30pm, according to movietickets.com.
Better to be rescheduled later in the evening than earlier, of course. But it's weird, aaaall the other movie theatres in my local area have the standard 7pm start time. I already have my pre-purchased ticket with 7pm printed on it, so *shrug*Oh, and I have rats in the attic, so I'm gonna get some traps…
(and yes, they're “clean” rats.)

ParticipantCeru,
Same here, but it doesn’t matter. I guess it’s a Fandango thing.
