Let Sleeping Corpses Lie aka The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue.

If you like Romero, you’ll love this one.

Great movie & I was surprised to see it predates Romero’s “Dawn of the Dead”. The “Blind Dead” quartet is also worth a look for genre addicts. “Burial Ground”, “Invasion of the Atomic Zombies” are all favorites.

Most love his zombie epics but he really does have an impressive body of work apart from that mythology. “Codename: Trixie” is terrific but “Martin” is exquisite. And several other filmmakers have added their voices to the Martin quintet of “Dead” film from Fulci’s “Zombie 2” to Dan O’Bannons’ “The Return of the Living Dead”. All are great and well worth a look. What related films have you been collecting or favour?

With the exception of “Martin,” I’ve never seen a George Romero film I didn’t like. My favorite of his is the classic “Night of the Living Dead,” but I also love “Dawn of the Dead,” “Day of the Dead,” “Land of the Dead,” “Diary of the Dead,” and “Creepshow.”
