I don't think that's true, Justin, and I hope it isn't!! It's my dream to see a miniseries adaptation of the novel!

If they go ahead with that, no doubt Blatty will take legal action.

Well, wouldn't you like to see an entire hour about Merrin in Iraq? 😉 As long as the tv. series remains faithful to the novel I don't have a problem with whoever directs it!

Yeah, Emily Yetter is about 22 years old.. Wish they could cast someone like this little girl to play Regan-

Her name is Molly Harmon and she was in the movie The Woman in Black.

    Good afternoon!

I’m sorry  for my English, because I
speak  English  little-bit. My name is Kate, I'm from Ukraine
    (Crimea)

I really looking forward to this  TV series.
I think, it is unlikely to be the masterpiece, which was the original “ The Exortsist”,
but a pretty good movie … why not?

It would be nice if Max von Sydow plays Father Merrin (my favorite character of
the book and the movie). Just would be a good age for him now)) But I think  he would not  agree to play this character again. But James
Woods, I think, would be a good candidate. After playing in the vulgar “parody,”
he сould reform and play a real father Merrin. He  really can do it, because he is a very strong
    dramatic actor.

I hope it’s good and will it be on a channel I get in New York state? 🙁
