ParticipantDamien,
You picked the very paragraph that makes me want to puke. Dietz is finding a way to tell her version of the “popular legend has it that Lana Turner was discovered sitting on a fountain stool at Schwab’s drugstore in Hollywood.”
I also didn’t know that Dietz discovered how nuclear fusion works! Next Dietz will be writing her memoir and talking about her Academy Award and Nobel Peace Prize that adorn her mantel in her “old monastery inhabited by ghosts!”

ParticipantSix months for few seconds …congratulations … LOL I wonder if Linda ever complained about it … I mean, it is an old story, but Dietz is still stealing her merit for playing the possessed Regan.

ParticipantLooks like the Blu-ray is going to clear up any confusion.

ParticipantIt's *still* a horrible scene to watch, but seeing it broken down into individual takes from different angles, with crew members on a set, actually makes it kind of amusing!

ParticipantI think this is Eileen…

ParticipantIt’s hard to tell but the body doesn’t really look like Linda and that’s a hideous wig. The face is chubby like Linda’s, though.

ParticipantYeah, I think the first one is Linda :>
There’s something about Eileen’s face in the ‘possessed regan’ makeup I hate. HmmSeptember 29, 2010 at 3:20 PM #23226Isabella Price

….not that Eileen is manly or aged. Haha. But that’s the only way I can describe it.

ParticipantHonestly, I think the pics and the video that Justin posted are that of Blair. When you play this scene in slo-mo, you see the swing of Regan’s arm from the front being performed by Blair, unlike the scene where Eileen bashes the doctor during the frog-throat scene. I believe this is what Friedkin meant when he referred to a more powerful swing from an adult (and the actual star of the film), Eileen Dietz.
