ParticipantIs there a reason your giving us first dibs rather than say listing on ebay?

ParticipantWhy not give us “first dibs?” I like the idea that Ben is making the offer here first before venturing into eBay-land! 🙂

ParticipantThis is where all the hardcore fans are, so he’s giving an opportunity for people here to grab them first. Isn’t it obvious?

ParticipantFriends,
For various reasons, I am selling most of my Blatty book collection.
I’d like to sell them as a ‘lot’, but may be willing to slit it up…Have a look and make me an offer you feel is fair:

FACES OF FEAR ed. Douglas E. Winter (interviews with horror authors,
among them, William Peter Blatty)POSSESSED by Thomas Allen (the full true story that inspired Blatty’s novel)
IF THERE WERE DEMONS THEN PERHAPS THERE WERE ANGELS: WILLIAM PETER
BLATTY’s OWN STORY OF THE EXORCISTDEMONS FIVE, EXORCISTS NOTHING: A FABLE by William Peter Blatty (hc)
THE EXORCIST: OUT OF THE SHADOWS by Bob McCabe
CRASH GOES THE EXORCIST: WHERE THE EXORCIST FAILED by Dr. Clifford Wilson
WILLIAM PETER BLATTY ON THE EXORCIST: FROM NOVEL TO FILM
THE EXORCIST: THE STRANGE STORY BEHIND THE FILM by Howard Newman
THE EXORCIST: SCREENPLAY (book by Faber Faber)
I’LL TELL THEM I REMEMBER YOU by William Peter Blatty
CATHOLICS IN THE MOVIES ed. Colleen McDannell (whole chapter on The Exorcist)

ParticipantHmmm. Interesting question: Which sells Exorcist memorabilia for the best price? eBay or CaptainHowdy.com ?

ParticipantOh, my. Don’t worry, Ryan … I’ll try to handle this one. CaptainHowdy.com is NOT eBay! If it were, and I had this many true fans to offer my collection of The Exorcist items to, I would be rolling in the dough! And, no, I’m not selling my life’s collection at any cost. (Unless someone wants to buy the Regan/Demon molds for about $150,000). 🙂
