ParticipantWasn’t that just for the vomit scene?

ParticipantIt’s probable that nasogastric and intravenous feeding are different regimens for different conditions and needs. She was supposed to be extremely malnourished by this time, not just unwell.
I have to check as it may be my imagination, but I have a nagging memory that somewhere in the book it mentions her ripping out lines from her arms.February 19, 2008 at 11:59 PM #19965colombiancannon
ParticipantI thought the tube in her nose was for her heavy breathing. Go figure. If they do a remake, they should show more details on how they change her human diaper and how the room smells like crap, u know? The actors should react more to the putrid stench as they enter Regan’s room. It’s little details that were in the book, but for the movie, I guess we don’t really need to see every thing that was in the book.

ParticipantWell you gotta admit, it makes one wonder what a non-human diaper is. LOL. Last time I checked most were for humans. Sorry I came across as dry.

ParticipantYes we all know it was to feed her. The question is why. Was she refusing food?

ParticipantThey should add these little details if they make a remake. As for the original, you can’t bogged down the movie with every detail or it will slow down the movie. We are to assume that the demon will not eat voluntary anyway.

Isn´t that from Exorcist II?

Participant“Yes we all know it was to feed her. The question is why.”
In the novel, when the Doctor performed a spinal tap on Regan, he explained that she needed intravenous feeding due to her condition.

Participantbut i think the demon wants to kill Reagan,
“how long you planning to stay in Reagan?”
and she responded, till my human diaper rots and starts stinking in here.November 13, 2008 at 11:59 PM #21372fatherbowdern
