Hello everyone! I’m thinking about launching a campaign in a rather complex niche – products against nicotine addiction. I read that such products are difficult to promote, since the audience often makes decisions impulsively, and standard approaches do not work here. So far, I have only tried social networks, but the results are weak. So the question arose: how effective is it to enter Google Ads with such a product? I don’t want to waste my budget. Maybe someone has had experience or has come across cases on this topic? Please share what should be taken into account before starting.

Google Ads can work well in this niche, because people search there with a “hot” request – they have already decided to quit smoking and are looking for a solution. But the key point is the correct campaign setup and hypothesis testing. It is very useful to read the Case study Selling Nicoban Google Ads. It describes in detail how Google was able to promote a smoking cessation product, which creatives and landing pages worked best. The case shows that the emphasis should be on emotions and quick results. It is also important to consider the launch time – people are especially motivated in January or after the holidays. I advise you to start with testing different offers and be sure to simplify the customer’s path on the landing page.
