Blatty writes sentences like I do when I wear my writer’s hat. We are both doomed to periphrastic sentence structures while worshiping the almighty semi-colon!

One of them is yes, first time I’ve used oils in decades. It’s been very frustrating, not least because I’m not that happy with the picture itself. Here’s a link:

Good work so far, Jagged. This reminds of me of how Leonardo chose to paint over the pearls on the Mona Lisa (of course, he was looking in the mirror at the time!) 🙂
