Father dwyer looks at the stairs in LEGION

    In the beginning of the movie, when you first see Fr. Dwyer, he is at M street, next to the house, He walks like 5 feet leading to the Hitchcock stairs and stops then you see his POV of the stairs. It looks like the stairs are just a few feet away, when in fact it’s like 20 feet away, Just a minor detail that I noticed. How about them apples?

    Yeah, we have a thread on here about this topic that’s more detailed. Your original thread (here) started some of this odd editing playout. However, it is strange that Friedkin edited the ending without a little more “walking time” for Father Dyer.

    If I remember correctly, in the other thread, there was a discussion about the entire configuration; i.e., if Karras threw himself out of the window, he had a long way to go before he actually hit the first step. It appears as if the Hitchcock steps are right beneath Regan’s bedroom window.
