Cool! Is Drag Me To Hell a demon possession plot?

Interesting trailer. Looks like a curse more than a possession, although I guess you could interpret a curse as a type of possession? Also there seems to be a reference to a “demon”.

Do I take it you recommend this film Bowdern? How would you rate it compared to the Exorcist?

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if anyone saw Drag Me To Hell….A FRIGGIN AWESOME MOVIE!!! But there are numerous references to The Exorcist so much so that the general score is a take-off of the unused Exorcist trailer music and there is a scene that features the unused Lalo Schifrin “Rock Ballad” music. If you have yet to see the movie pay attention to the scene toward the end in the diner. It almost sounds like elevator music when used in this context. I’m 100% positive it is the actual song.

I would recommend the film primarily because of Sam Raimi’s use of both scares and humor (Raimi is a huge fan of The Three Stooges).

Comparison to The Exorcist? It’s not in the same league.
