I broke down and bought a copy of the new Bill Blatty book. One thing for sure is this: If they do decide to bring it to celluloid, I don't think that I can sit through the whole Albania sequence. If Billy Friedkin directs it with the same style that he employed during the filming of “The Exorcist”, I'm bringing along a barf bag.Mind you, this is not a demon possession, head spinning tale….other than that, all I can say is GET THE BOOK!Cool

I'm not very far into it but just in these first 40-50 pages you are instantly fascinated by the story. Blatty has a deftness to how he crafts his sentences, there is a preciseness to his language and there is an economy to how he tells his story that reminds you why The Exorcist sold a gazillion copies.

It's always an experience to delve into the work of Blatty & I hope that this book finds an audience.
