Rosemary’s Baby is a fantastic thriller and part of what I consider “The Unholy Trinity” of Satan films, along with of course The Exorcist and the original Omen

As we have seen, sequels, prequels and remakes of classic and well-crafted films are usually a bad idea. However, I would love to see a prequel (not a sequel – apparently Look What’s Happened to Rosemary’s Baby is an awful made for TV film). The prequel should deal with the rise and fall of the Castevet/Mercato coven.

I also wonder how Rosemary’s friend Hutch (played by the actor who was Samantha’s dad on Bewitched!) was so aware and sharp regarding the dangers of the witch cult in the Dakota building — imagine a team up between him and Father Merrin!
