I’ve heard that company registration in Cyprus can be completed entirely online. How convenient and secure is this? What documents do I need to provide? Do I need to sign any forms in person, or are electronic signatures sufficient? I’d also like to know if the online filing packages include assistance with obtaining a tax identification number, VAT, and bank accounts.

The online process is indeed possible. First, you select the company name and structure—shareholders, director, and secretary. Then, you upload KYC documents: passport, proof of address, and source of funds. All forms are signed electronically, after which the registration is submitted to the Registry. You receive digital certificates for the company, director, and secretary. Packages include obtaining a tax identification number, VAT, assistance with opening a bank account, and provision of a registered office. The registration status can be tracked in real time, and all fixed fees are visible in advance. Details can be found here: https://cyprusregister.com

Online document submission saves time and minimizes errors. The main thing is to prepare all documents in advance and check their accuracy. Electronic signatures are completely legal, and the entire process can be completed remotely. Even beginning entrepreneurs are advised to use professional services to ensure complete accuracy.
