    Anyone happen to know the piece of music when Chris is driving Regan back from the clinic and Karl takes her from the backseat up to the house. Quite an ominous piece of music.

     

    PS. just joined the website and have to say that the exorcist is one of my favorite films of all time, there is simply nothing like it out there. I was surprise to find such a website and after looking at the pretty dismal imdb boards i was relieved to find such a site.

    I believe you are referring to Jack Nitzsche's ultra-creepy “Polymorphia” … no? Smile

    To enjoy your favorite part, go further intro the track as Friedkin was ever so clever in his choosing certain bits and pieces throughout the film (I can hear the beginning of a “sandstone exorcism” … a “spider walking” … and lots of “foreboding” transitional scenes, too).

    Sorry for the late reply. That is the one im looking for! Thanks father Bowdern, ive now just realized that this should have been posted in the questions thread, apologies. And yes Reganmacneilfan its definitely one spooky song.
