The Exorcist as a sitcom

A silver lining to staying home sick is getting to watch reruns of classic sitcoms on television. The Exorcist terrified me as a teenager but I doubt it would've had the same effect if it came packaged with a plucky opening theme and a canned laugh track.

The guys over at Film School Rejects have put their editing skills to use and seamlessly merged two polar opposite genres: The Eighties Sitcom and The Exorcist. The result is a hilarious mash-up clip in the same vein as the now-popular clips Mary Poppins as a horror film and The Shining as a feel-good indie flick.
