KeymasterHi guys
I was hoping someone could answer my question?I believe there was a reg 1 DVD exorcist box set released with signed linda blair picture ?
It included prints, cd and booklet with the version you’ve never seen before DVD but on the back on the box it states it is the 25tn anniversary! Is this correct and it was a mistake by Warner to change this?Reason I ask is I have a chance of picking one up but wasn’t sure if this is the right DVD in box that was meant to come with it?
Hope someone has one and can clear this up.

ParticipantAs far as I'm aware, I don't think any of the box sets included a signed photo, and it should be the 25th anniversary DVD (or VHS). Sounds like someone has mixed and matched a bit. Probably still worth picking up, though!

ParticipantEddie,
It is indeed the 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Collector's Deluxe Box Set. It included:
– 25th Anniversary DVD
– CD Soundtrack (sans Tubular Bells for legal reasons)
– 8 Limited Edition Lobby Cards
– Commemorative book on the movie (along with Kermode's book)
– Felt-lined fitted black slipcaseThe “signed picture” is actually the matted movie print with a film cell a.k.a. senitype. The senitype featured Blair in demonic makeup along with von Sydow and Miller. Blair signed several of the mattes in gold Sharpie with various jargon including: “You make my head spin! Love, Linda;” or “Sweet dreams! Lots of Love, Linda.”
I had several copies that I purchased directly from a video source outlet in Florida. I held on to them and resold them later, but kept my favorite one with the first signing from Blair.
If you see a description that refers to the box set as being “sealed,” that may not be completely true and seller's do not even know it. It's a high probably that you will have a signed sentiype if there is a small slit that runs the length of the box set to allow Blair to sign the senitypes and were they were carefully reinserted back into the box sets. Just be aware you may NOT get the signed sentiype as your seller could have a “general audience” version as WB royally screwed up with production and didn't make enough box sets to fulfill the demand.

ParticipantHi, i am new here.
Â
I love this set. I bought it on e-bay for not even $60 including shipping to the Netherlands!
It was sealed and suprise suprise…i got one signed. The seller obviously didn't knew this.
Â
There was / is also a leeaflet where you ask online for a certificate, but since i bought it pretty late (too my knowledge, it was sold out and only some online sellers had it) i couldn't get it this certificate.
From this set, there are only 500 copies which are signed.

Keymasteryes, there was a limited edition dvd set like this with a film cell. Somewhere on the boxset linda blair signed only 25 of these in gold ink
for example, one box set would say linda blair in gold ink along with 10/25 in gold ink. i saw one of these sets on ebay last year and it sold for around $400.
extremely rare horror collectible
