My Exorcist Movie House in The Sims 3

    Hi everyone,

     

    I'm new on the forum.

    I'm Yohan, I'm 29, I'm French and I would like to share with you 2 images of my Exorcist Movie House that I built in The Sims 3.

     

    I put screenshots of the house in the movie to compare with my house in The Sims 3 :

    The exterior of the house looks amazing! I have a problem with building the roof though, I don't know how to make it look like the movie.

    Thanks, I′m glad you like my house! Smile

     

    It took me several months to build the exterior and the interior, and for the furnishing of the rooms.

    I tried that my house looks like as far as possible to the movie house, but it was a bit difficult because the build and the furnishing modes are quite limited in The Sims 3 (even with the cheat codes).

     

    The building of the roof took me a long time too, especially with the white edge, the mansard roof shape, the attic windows, and the texture/color of the sheet metal.

     

    I also tried to build the famous Exorcist Steps on the left side of the house, but it was impossible due to the landform and I′m not good at all with the terraforming mode.

    So I built something that looks a bit like the steps… lol

    I wonder if you created Chris & Regan in Sims 3?

    How can EA like The Sims 3 faces is beyond me… they lack so much detail, no matter how much cc skintone I have!

      I had the idea to “clone” my sims 2 faces of Shirley and Sachi to my Sims 3 versions of them and after seeing these comparison pictures I just realized how incredibly plain and cartoonish Sims 3 faces look! The only way I can adapt The Exorcist novel to Sims 3 is by doing it in pictures, with my sims 2 faces cloned to their bodies. There's no way I'll adapt The Exorcist to Sims 3 with their faces looking like puddings!

    I know, the creators  tried to make the sims look more real but that just didn't happean!

    Anyway, It seems that TS2 is made more for telling stories and TS3 is more just for the fun of playing the sims 🙂 …

    nah…not much to say….classes are still a drag 😛

     

    btw I just found out a week ago that the Hugh Jackman on broadway…all of the reasonably-priced tickets that are close to the stage, G-O-N-E. TOTALLY sold out which SUCKS. Because I was really looking foreward to finally meeting him…Oh well.

    Evereybody wonders what I'm gonna do IF I meet him. I imagine i'd compliment all of his movies, shoot-the-shit with him about things…..like I do when I talk to a normal person because I'm under the impression that most celebs are sick of being idolized 🙂

     

    of course I had to mention HJ in a post here 🙂
