ParticipantJust stumbled upon this:
The Exorcist On-Set Photo Negatives. This set of color film negatives features dozens of rare, unpublished images taken during the filming of the 1973 horror classic based on the novel by William Peter Blatty. Most of the images feature director William Friedkin and actors Ellen Burstyn, Lee J. Cobb, Linda Blair, and others. Also included are several 8″ x 10″ negatives of unused poster concepts. In Excellent condition.
It’s a shame I didn’t find it earlier as someone has scored the lot for $300. These look like the negatives for the photos taken and used as publicity stills. There’s a lot of rare stuff here, most of it we will never ever see as usual… REALLY freakin’ annoys me that the winning bidders never bother to share this stuff. That site doesn’t show who the seller or winners are so I can’t contact them to ask about getting some photos.
Oh well. I’ve tried to fix up the pics they did post:

KeymasterOh damn! Nice find, Justin. I definitely would have scooped these up had I known about them! And at a much larger price! Still, we can take a look at what you’ve found here.

ParticipantOh man, that looked like a treasure trove of photographs.
Like you said, for promotional purposes, as the only photo I recognize is the one of grinning Linda in the checkered shirt.C’mon, anonymous bidder winner, share the wealth!

ParticipantFudge! Oh well, you can always bid on this upcoming auction at the same site:
The Exorcist Museum quality Linda Blair Head Sculpture. A life-size silicon sculpture of the head of Regan (Linda Blair) from the 1973 Academy Award- and Golden Globe-winning horror flick The Exorcist. Detailed with brown hair and convulsing red and blue face, along with a purple protruding tongue, this is an amazing recreation of the demon-possessed little girl. >>>The sculpture was not made for production use, but rather was created long after the movie’s release by special effects and studio make-up man Henry Alvarez. In Fine condition.<<< Sure, sure. Father Bowdern

ParticipantI just made a new clone of Sachi as being Regan, sitting on the chair. That’s my favorite unpublished image!
