Research Project about female horror fans

Dear Female Horror Fans!

I am a third year university student at Bournemouth University, England currently in the middle of my dissertation. The focus of my dissertation is how age and gender impacts on an audience’s response to horror/violent films.

I am interested in building a discussion about how female horror fans view horror (DVD, TV, Cinema, Festivals etc) and if there is any reason why you choose to view horror/violent films in this way.

Please give your opinions on this subject and then please give your sex, age, location (County or State) and occupation at the end of your comment.

For example mine would be: Female, 20, Dorset UK, Student.

I am primarily looking for the opinions of female horror fans but if any male horror fans wish to leave a comment then please do!
